John Kaplan | Managing Partner
John Kaplan is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Force Management. A skilled consultant, presenter and facilitator, his background includes over 20 years of executive experience in sales leadership and execution.
At Force Management, Kaplan specializes in corporate sales strategy and performance management. Specifically, he has advised and managed projects addressing a variety of sales challenges, including:
- Talent Management
- Corporate Strategy
- Sales Leadership
- National Account Management
- Training and Development
Before founding Force Management with Grant Wilson, Kaplan served as Senior Vice President of International Sales Operations for PTC – a leading software developer for content and product lifecycle management. He was responsible for pre-sales support, training and development, recruiting, quota, compensation and distribution planning for the 450+ person sales force in Europe and Asia. He also led an International Headquarters Team in London, England and held numerous sales management roles including Senior Vice President of Sales, Area Vice President of Sales, Regional Director and District Manager.
Prior to joining PTC, Kaplan spent nine years with Xerox Corporation in sales, sales management and sales development roles. He was involved in the development and delivery of a multi-million dollar strategic selling initiative to the North American sales force.
Mr. Kaplan graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration.
