Principal Consultant

The Principal Consultant serves as the program manager for client engagements. They are responsible for customizing and executing against meticulous project plans and coordinating global teams. This role requires great attention to detail, organization skills, and an ability to build trusted relationships.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate and effectively work across multiple levels, roles, and functions internally and in client organizations
  • Manage multiple, and sometimes competing, priorities
  • Work with internal sellers to understand client expectations throughout engagements and ensure needs are met
  • Actively own the development and customization of all project materials
  • Create and manage project workplans and ensure key deadlines are met
  • Develop project reports, run weekly status calls, and manage ongoing client communication
  • Accurately create client-specific deliverables, leveraging internal experts and incorporating client feedback
  • Plan and participate in project working sessions and training deliveries, to include leading breakout groups
  • Lead debrief meetings with internal teams to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, and next steps following each project milestone
  • Assist in developing reinforcement solutions to help drive long term customer success
  • Assist in product development initiatives to improve internal processes, methodologies and tools
  • Support senior internal sales leaders in project scoping and proposal development

 

REQUIREMENTS:

A Principal Consultant must be process-oriented, a superb writer, a clear and concise communicator, an excellent listener, and a consensus-builder. The individual must be a multi-position player, taking on whatever role is necessary to deliver high value for clients.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic history with 3-5 years of post-undergrad work experience in management consulting, project management, or a role that required writing and people/event coordination. The candidate will have mastery-level skill in MS Office.

Frequent travel to client locations is required. Travel is expected to be approximately 50-75%.
