John R. Kaplan

John KaplanJohn Kaplan is a managing partner at Force Management. Mr. Kaplan's extensive background as a sales executive for over 20 years has produced outstanding business results in large multi-national corporations with a combination of domestic and international assignments. Mr. Kaplan is known for the passion that he brings to his work and to those around him. His athletic past has allowed him to transfer valuable skills such as discipline, execution and motivation to his business career.

In his prior role at PTC, he held the position Senior Vice President of International Sales Operations. He oversaw pre-sales support, training and development, recruiting, quota & compensation and distribution planning for the 450+ person sales force in Europe and Asia. Mr. Kaplan developed, implemented and led the International Headquarters Team in London, England which was formed to bridge the gap between PTC's corporate strategy and its international execution.

He joined PTC in 1996 and held numerous sales management roles including Sr. VP of Sales Central & Eastern Europe; Area Vice President of Sales Southeast US; Regional Director of Sales Mid-Atlantic and District Manager of Sales North Carolina.

Prior to joining PTC, Mr. Kaplan spent 9 years with Xerox Corporation where he held positions as Area Sales Manager Western Michigan; Sales Training Specialist at Xerox's Corporate Training and Development Center (XDU) and various sales assignments. At Xerox he delivered a multi-million dollar strategic selling initiative to the North American sales force, which completely revolutionized the Xerox sales process.

Mr. Kaplan graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's of science degree in business administration and was a member of the Football Team.
